New Video Lesson: Master the Pronunciation of Regular Verbs

Hi English Learners,

After a long layoff, I’ve finally published another video lesson.

Recently, I’ve been working on a grammar guide for academic writing (yes, I’m writing a book!), but it’s been a while since I published anything new to YouTube.

In the last month or so, I’ve done a series of lessons with some students and noticed the pronunciation of [ed] on regular verbs and ed-adjectives has needed some work, so I put my book on hold to develop a video lesson to address this problem.

For your convenience, I’ve embedded the video here, so you can give it a watch and pick up or refresh the phonetic rules that govern how [ED] is pronounced.

Additionally, I’ve included some free downloadable resources to help you practice this point of pronunciation.

You can watch the video here:

If you prefer to learn from text rather than video, you can read the full lesson post on my blog here.

Well, that’s it. I hope you enjoy and learn a lot from this lesson.

Please remember to like and share the video to your socials.

All the best!

Jon

After graduation, he went on to become a financial advisor where he learned financial sales and management training. Upon returning to Los Angeles in 2006, he worked in West Los Angeles for an investment management firm where he spent another 4 years in a financial and investment environment. Ultimately, though, his love for teaching led him to move back to Poland where he founded his business Native 1 English Learning. Now he operates a private teaching practice, posts articles and lessons on his blog, creates online courses, and publishes YouTube video English lessons.
