When the quarantine hit and flipped all of our lives upside down, I have to say that I really went underground and began training myself to make online courses. It began with an idea to create online courses for my website or for Skillshare, and then I wanted to use Pinterest to help get the word out for my courses. So if you have landed here, I think it has begun to work.
Back in July of this year, I released my first PowerPoint course for Pinterest: How to Become a Pinterest Pin Making Machine with PowerPoint. The course shows you step by step how to create an image in Pinterest’s Dimensions for PowerPoint. When I explained in that course exactly why PowerPoint was such a good but not well-known tool were a few points I will restate here:
- You already have access to PowerPoint.
- PowerPoint has all the graphic design tools you need to do what other apps do.
- You can animate your images to create video.
Now that course was mostly about creating the images to begin with.
THIS course is about taking the next step and making images in Pinterest’s preferred dimensions to give your pins an unfair advantage to attracting impressions.
So how about it? I have taken the liberty of linking you to both of my courses right here in this post. Click on either button to be taken to my courses on Skillshare. If you are a member, you will begin watching immediately. If you aren’t a member, you’ll be given a generous 2-month trial membership for joining Skillshare. That’s plenty of time to watch both of my courses and add a new skill to your arsenal – designing social media images in PowerPoint. While you’re at it, there are loads of other great courses there that you can benefit from. So why not join me in becoming a learning junky (I honestly watch Skillshare courses 2-3 hours a day – yikes!)?
