Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss for me is a life-changing and must-have audiobook for your collection. It’s great for Business, Self-Development, Educators, and for your personal business and relationships. Despite the fact that I had used one of my Audible credits on this book in the early days of my Audible membership, I ended up waiting almost a year to listen to it – BIG MISTAKE.

Never Split the Difference is a book about negotiating, yet it is far from being your typical “negotiating” books. Most negotiating books center around things like win-win strategies. They preach about notions of compromise. This book, as the title states, takes the exact opposite approach. Instead, the author focuses on developing your active listening skills. And using those active listening skills for situational empathy.
The main idea is that you need to know what the other side wants. And if you can do that, by listening, you will be in a stronger position to get what you want out of the negotiation.
I am massively grateful to this book for the insight it’s provided to me. Additionally, I have used this book in my university lessons. That’s why I am sure that you will enjoy this audiobook on both personally and professionally.

Buy as an Audiobook or an E-Book?
If you feel you would like to give this book a try, you have the option to buy as an e-book or an audiobook. I prefer the audiobook for many reasons. Firstly, the narrator is outstanding. His voice alone adds depth and character to the content of the book. Unfortunately, the Kindle version does not come with Whispersync technology, meaning you can’t have both the audio and visual reading option. As a result, I suggest you go with the Audible version.
